Medical Legal Claims Assistant:

We are seeking candidates with experience in either the medical or legal field to assist in discovery process for medical-legal claims. It is not expected that you will have knowledge in both the legal and medical fields. Experience in both fields, a plus!  This position has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.  Requirements are as follow:

Medical:

• Working knowledge of medical terminology; i.e., diseases, injuries, medical procedures, surgeries, medical insurance, documents, etc. . .
• Experience in medical records, strongly preferred
• Minimum 2-5 years in a medical setting 

Legal:

• Working knowledge of legal terminology and experience in the discovery process, preferably with medical claims; i.e., document names, knowledge of document interpretation
• Previous experience with litigation support, and filing subponea's via online system
• Minimum 2-5 years in a legal office setting 

Experience coordinating IME's a plus!  Experience working in a client-facing role a plus!  Hours are Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p.  Salary $16-17/hour.
